ABOUT US

In September of 2019 Heartland Technology purchased the building at 591 Young Street with the help of an existing partnership with Farmers State Bank. The agreement between the two companies was to support the Jesup community through this multi-purpose facility, with coworking offices and off-site space for Jesup Community School District CAPS students and business professionals. The remodel was completed in early 2020 and we opened our doors on February 1, 2020.

WHAT is our space comprised of? It’s a combination of private and open-area shared office space that is available to those who drop in or want to rent by the hour, day, or month. Additional spaces that keep our members coming back, are the outdoor patio and fully stocked kitchenette with hot coffee, beverages, and snacks available.

WHO uses our space? Remote workers, community groups, small business owners, students, local businesses – pretty much anyone needing a space to work in a professional atmosphere or to hold a meeting or training.

HOW do you sign up for membership? Memberships are not required to use our space. If you need to rent one of our meeting rooms or need to work for just one day, we do not require a membership. Those looking for monthly memberships can check out the pricing section. Monthly members do receive extra perks such as private office rentals and free printing.

Our parent company, Heartland Technology, has been dedicated to giving back to the communities they serve over the past 120 years and CoWork591 is a prime example. We take pride in providing a space for non-profits, local businesses, and remote workers to use at an affordable rate. Within our walls true friendships are formed, business partners are made, and community connections are strengthened. Above all else, we love bringing people together!

MY STORY

I have been working for Heartland Technology, the parent company of CoWork591 since 2017. In 2020, I took on the role of Director at CoWork, and continued with some of Heartland's administrative duties.  I love being around other people and helping them in any way I can, which fits really well in the coworking environment. I am a Jesup graduate and love to be involved with the community.

Outside of work, I love traveling with my family, playing with my 4 cats, and checking out live music at local venues.

MEET OUR STAFF

Here is what some of our members say about us:

Sara

"Clean, ultra modern working space with more amenities than you can ever need and a super helpful staff. Blazing fast internet, comfortable work spaces, and private offices and conference rooms available if needed. The monthly membership fee is such a great value for 24/7 access. Would give more stars if I could - love this as an alternative to working from home!"

J.J

"Excellent co-working opportunity for those in the Cedar Valley! I come from Cedar Falls and it's definitely worth the little drive to get there. The space is bright, open, and super comfortable. I appreciate the people that are onsite regularly and the new faces that come in and out! It's truly been a blessing for my work-life! I highly recommend for those looking to positively improve their work environment!"

Noel

"My favorite thing about CoWork591 is the people & the sense of community it brings--especially networking with people

outside of my company."

Connect. Collaborate. Community.
